Description
Non-flushing CTP plates, also known as non-ablative CTP plates or dry offset plates, are a type of printing plate used in offset printing. Unlike traditional CTP plates, these plates do not require any chemical processing, making them an environmentally friendly option for printing.Non-flushing CTP plates are made of a photosensitive material that is applied to an aluminum base. The plate is then exposed to UV light through a film negative or digital file, which causes a chemical reaction in the photosensitive layer. The exposed areas become more receptive to ink, while the unexposed areas remain hydrophilic (water-receptive) and repel ink.After exposure, the plate is placed on the press, where ink is applied directly to the plate.
