Description
The PS Plate is made of a thin aluminum sheet coated with a photosensitive layer. The plate is exposed to UV light through a film negative or digital file, which causes a chemical reaction in the photosensitive layer. The exposed areas become more receptive to ink, while the unexposed areas remain hydrophilic (water-receptive) and repel ink.After exposure, the plate is developed with a special solution that removes the unexposed areas of the photosensitive layer, leaving behind the image areas. The plate is then washed with water to remove any remaining debris and dried.The PS Plate is widely used in commercial printing due to its high quality and ease of use. It can be used with both water-based and oil-based inks and is suitable for printing on a variety of materials, including paper, cardboard, and plastics.
